Home Artificial Intelligence NGA Selects Enabled Intelligence to Provide AI/ML Data Labeling Service Under $708M SEQUOIA Contract
Enabled Intelligence has secured the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s SEQUOIA contract, a single-award vehicle worth up to $708 million over seven years to provide data labeling-as-a-service for geospatial artificial intelligence and machine learning programs.
The work will span multiple NGA directorates and extend to Department of Defense and intelligence community programs, including efforts associated with the NGA Maven portfolio, Enabled Intelligence said Monday. The Maven program utilizes AI to enhance the sensors and platforms used in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.

Enabled Intelligence’s new SEQUOIA contract with NGA underscores how rapidly AI-driven geospatial analysis is scaling across the defense and intelligence community. The 2026 Artificial Intelligence Summit will bring together the leaders shaping this momentum, offering a closer look at how agencies are building reliable, mission-ready AI systems powered by trusted data. What Will the SEQUOIA Contract Support?
Enabled Intelligence will deliver data labeling capabilities designed to feed AI systems that require precise, unbiased annotation. The data labeled under SEQUOIA will support object detection, tracking, classification and pattern analysis, as well as natural language processing and analytic models tied to GEOINT business process automation.
“Precision in support of American national security missions has been at the forefront of everything we do at Enabled Intelligence,” said Peter Kant, CEO of Enabled Intelligence. “Our open architecture approach, combined with our rigorously trained and skilled workforce, ensures that NGA and the broader DoD and Intelligence Community have access to the precise, unbiased data labeling necessary to deploy AI capabilities at the speed and scale – maintaining America’s strategic advantage.”
Which Companies Will Support Enabled Intelligence?
Enabled Intelligence will team with BAE Systems; Vantor, formerly Maxar Intelligence; Whiteboard Federal; and other partners to meet NGA’s requirements across the seven-year ordering period.
The SEQUOIA contract represents NGA’s largest data labeling award to date, the company said. The agency first outlined the requirement in 2024.
