VTG has acquired Miklos Systems Inc., or MSI, a technology company based in Fairfax, Virginia.

VTG said Tuesday that the transaction aligns with efforts to expand its presence in the national security market.

What Is MSI?

Founded in 1993, MSI offers full software lifecycle development, cloud services, cybersecurity, data science and systems engineering to the intelligence community. The company is wholly employee-owned.

“All of the employee-owners of MSI are excited about the acquisition. We are looking forward to joining VTG, and working together on future opportunities,” shared Roland Burdett, president of MSI.”

How Does the Acquisition Fit Into VTG’s Growth Strategy?

John Hassoun, president and CEO of VTG, commented that the addition of MSI represents a milestone in the company’s growth.

“MSI’s culture of technical excellence, integrity, and employee empowerment mirrors our own values and vision,” he said. “Their collaborative spirit and commitment to mission success make them an ideal fit for VTG.”

MSI is VTG’s sixth acquisition of 2025. In February, the Chantilly, Virginia-based firm announced the acquisition of Loki Solutions, a provider of specialized systems and services to intelligence and government customers.

VTG also acquired Triaplex, Byte Systems, Iota IT and Tunuva Technologies in May.
