Dataminr has announced plans to acquire ThreatConnect, an intelligence management platform, in a deal valued at $290 million.

Dataminr said Tuesday the acquisition aims to deliver artificial intelligence-powered tools to help customers detect threats, rank risks and respond faster. Dataminr will integrate its advanced AI platform for public data with ThreatConnect’s internal data capabilities to establish an agentic AI-driven, client-tailored intelligence platform. The acquisition will combine data from different sources across physical, digital and cyber areas with Dataminr’s AI Agents analyzing internal and external data in real time to deliver context-aware intelligence that aligns with each customer’s needs.
