IronMountain Solutions, an engineering and technology firm, has announced the promotion of Luther Laney to CEO and president. The company’s executive leadership changes also include new appointments for Neal Corson and Grant VanOostrom, according to recent LinkedIn posts.
Who is Leading IronMountain Solutions Now?
Luther Laney has been named CEO and president, succeeding his prior role as senior vice president. Laney has been with IMS for nearly 15 years and has accumulated over 21 years of industry experience. His leadership experience is further anchored by more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, including roles as a first sergeant and drill instructor.
Laney holds a master’s degree in acquisition and contract management from the Florida Institute of Technology and is noted for his focus on operational excellence and commitment to the company’s guiding principle, “Extreme Customer Focus.”
What Other Key Executive Changes Were Announced?
Two other key leadership changes were announced recently:
- Neal Corson, Vice President of Engineering Services Division. Corson has been promoted to lead the engineering services division. Having joined IMS in 2023, he previously served as the director of growth and strategy. His expertise is drawn from a decorated career in the U.S. Army, where he held senior executive positions such as deputy chief of staff at Army Futures Command. His background also includes private sector experience as an advisory specialist leader at Deloitte, bringing extensive knowledge in modernization, analytics and strategic program management.
- Grant VanOostrom, Senior Vice President. VanOostrom has been promoted to senior vice president after serving as vice president of program management for nearly four years. He has been with IMS for over eight years. A retired U.S. Marine Corps sergeant major, VanOostrom’s three decades of service included key roles such as senior enlisted adviser for the II Marine Expeditionary Force and sergeant major for manpower and reserve affairs at Marine Corps headquarters. He currently serves on the board of governors for the Marine Corps Association.
