NASA has started seeking information from prospective contractors for the potential five-year, $480 million Test, Evaluation and Support Team 4, or TEST4, contract.
TEST4 Contract Scope of Work & Other Details
According to the request for information notice posted on SAM.gov Wednesday, the agency’s Johnson Space Center aims to identify companies with the resources to provide a wide range of services supporting the White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The contract, potentially valued at $90 to $99 million annually, will cover propulsion testing, hypervelocity impact testing, flight hardware processing, and propellants, aerospace fluids, materials and components testing. The selected contractor will also provide technical services, training, facility maintenance and construction management.
The sources sought synopsis also aims to determine possible organizational conflicts of interest and small business subcontracting goals before issuing a formal solicitation.
NASA plans to structure a cost-reimbursable contract incorporating select fixed-price features. This contract serves as a follow-on to the existing TEST3 agreement. Interested companies must submit their responses by October 24.
