Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 Contract Details

The Department of Defense said Friday the company will perform contract work in Huntsville, Alabama, and Tucson, Arizona. It is expected to complete the project by July 30, 2026.

The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama will allocate the full amount from fiscal 2025 Army procurement appropriations funds at the time of the award.

Previous IFPC Agreements

On July 31, Dynetics secured a $264.6 million contract from the Army to support its weapon system requirements for the IFPC. The Army awarded the company a potential $4.1 billion contract in November 2024 to procure 18 IFPC Increment 2 launchers.

In September 2021, Dynetics was also awarded a $237.4 million prototype other transaction agreement to develop 16 launcher prototypes, 60 interceptors and all-up-round magazines for the IFPC Increment 2 program.
