Human readiness training tech provider Ethos has appointed Cory Jones, a technology executive and innovator, as chief technology officer.
The Redwood City, California-based company said Jones brings to the role over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, mission-critical software engineering and cybersecurity across defense, government and enterprise tech areas.
Advancing AI-Driven Ethos Human Readiness Platform
As CTO, Jones will oversee Ethos’ technical strategy, product development and efforts to deliver secure, scalable platforms to government and enterprise customers.
He will drive innovation across the company’s Human Readiness Platform, lead the engineering organization and align tech investments with customer mission requirements.
The Ethos Human Readiness Platform delivers modernized training, AI-driven personalization and real-time readiness dashboards designed for enterprise-scale deployment across classified and commercial networks.

Who Is Cory Jones?
Prior to Ethos, Jones helped establish Scale AI’s public sector mission engineering team, which is focused on integrating AI, machine learning and large language model capabilities into operational systems for government applications.
Before joining Scale AI, he was vice president of engineering at Shift5, where he led the engineering team’s expansion, helped drive revenue growth and supported the company’s Series B funding round.
The new Ethos CTO also held senior technical roles at the National Security Agency, Department of Defense and several government contracting firms.
