Converged Security Solutions has appointed Gregory Garrett to the newly established role of chief operating officer. The company said Monday Garrett will lead its federal operations and oversee the implementation of its growth strategy across IT, cyber and integrated security, and digital transformation markets.
“This role gives me the opportunity to align CSS’s people and capabilities across IT and security solutions to directly support federal missions,” the executive stated. “Together, we can build on CSS’s strong foundation and bring new innovations to our customers with greater speed and impact.”
Who is Gregory Garrett?
Garrett brings to the role over three decades of experience in leadership roles across the technology sector. Before he joined CSS, he was the COO of REI Systems, where he managed a team of over 800 IT, software development, cybersecurity, program management and business professionals delivering digital transformation services to federal defense, civilian, space, health, and state and local government agency customers.
The federal IT industry veteran also held the role of vice president of cybersecurity at Peraton, where he scaled the company’s cyber business from $1 billion to $4 billion annually.
“Gregg combines the operational discipline of a proven executive with the forward-thinking mindset of a true innovator,” Mike Santelli, CEO of CSS, commented. “His track record in scaling businesses and aligning solutions with the customer mission makes him the ideal leader to help CSS deliver even more comprehensive solutions to our customers in the federal marketplace.”
