The U.S. Air Force has awarded ASRC Federal Data Network Technologies a $525.8 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for sustainment and support under the Cyber Support Services 3 program. Work will be performed primarily at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, and at multiple base locations worldwide, with completion expected by Sept. 11, 2030, the Department of Defense said. The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center at Hanscom is the contracting activity.

About the CSS3 Program

According to the Air Force’s CSS3 performance work statement, the program provides enterprise-wide support for the Air Force Information Network, a multibillion-dollar portfolio that delivers secure, high-capacity digital communications across the Department of the Air Force. AFIN includes network infrastructure, monitoring and defense systems for active-duty, reserve and Air National Guard bases worldwide.

Contract Scope

Under the contract, ASRC Federal will deliver program management, sustainment of base-level IT infrastructure, incident management, integration and test facility operations, inventory and warehouse management, field engineering support and subject matter expertise for specialized systems. CSS3 also requires the contractor to maintain the AFIN Response Center; provide technical publications; and support situational awareness, compliance assessment and emergency mass notification systems.

The contract was awarded following a competitive acquisition with 13 offers received. An initial $19.7 million in fiscal 2025 operations and maintenance funds has been obligated at the time of award.
