Eleven companies have secured spots on a potential $15 billion contract for construction services to the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Center. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract calls for design-build and design-bid-build services, the Department of Defense said Monday. 

The contractors’ work activities are further classified as follows: maintenance, repair, restoration, modernization, minor construction, military construction, other procurement construction, and demolition. 

Global Construction Services Contract

Work performance will be in global locations, with expected completion by July 6, 2035, if AFCEC exercises all options in the multiple award contract. A $3,000 funding per awardee from the Air Force fiscal year operation and maintenance appropriations is being obligated at the time of the award. The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Joint Base Lackland-San Antonio, Texas, is the contracting activity of the competitive procurement that drew 33 offers.
