Agile Defense has finalized its integration of IntelliBridge, which the former acquired in January, completing a consolidation that creates a single enterprise focused on accelerating the delivery of digital, data, cyber and artificial intelligence capabilities across national security and civilian agencies. Agile Defense said Tuesday that the unified structure allows it to scale mission support as federal customers expand adoption of modern, AI-driven technologies.
How Has the Combined Agile Defense, IntelliBridge Organization Performed Since the Acquisition?
The company captured new contracts across defense, homeland security, intelligence and civilian markets following the integration, describing the early results as validation of its mission-first model. Agile Defense CEO Rick Wagner, a six-time Wash100 Award recipient, said agencies are responding to an organization designed to pair mission familiarity with modern engineering and full-stack AI services. “We set out to build a company that evolves quickly and delivers at the speed of mission—and the market is showing us that this model works,” he continued.
What Role Does Agile Labs Play in the Unified Enterprise?
Agile Labs, the company’s innovation and solution engineering hub, is central to the combined organization’s technical momentum. The unit continues to produce mission-ready tools, scalable AI and data solutions and rapid prototypes, including Workforce, Agile Defense’s agentic AI platform, and a mission-ready virtual security operations center capability. These offerings are being pushed into operational environments and are increasingly accessible through the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, the Department of Defense’s technology acquisition ecosystem.
What Momentum Has Agile Defense Built in 2025?
That innovation pipeline has helped fuel several recent wins. The company received a new award from the DOD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office to provide AI engineering support to the combatant commands and Joint Staff, secured its first Small Business Innovation Research Phase III award with the State Department’s Office of Open Source Intelligence and earned a sole-source extension for mission-critical work with U.S. Marine Forces Reserve.
“The federal landscape is changing rapidly, and Agile Defense is moving out in front,” said Wagner. “We are built for the challenges ahead—and we are ready to help our customers stay ahead as missions, threats, and technologies continue to evolve.”
