QinetiQ Adds Brad Feldmann, John Kavanaugh to SSA Board

QinetiQ has named Brad Feldmann, a past Wash100 awardee, and John Kavanaugh to its SSA board of directors, established in 2021 under a special security agreement with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.

The company said Wednesday the appointments follow Tom Vecchiolla’s departure to become QinetiQ US president and CEO and the passing of Pamela Drew earlier in 2025.

“The strategic insight and business acumen that Brad and John bring to the SSA Board will strengthen its governance, oversight and guidance in a complex regulatory and security environment,” said John Hillen, chair of the QinetiQ SSA board and a fellow Wash100 Award winner.

Who Is Brad Feldmann?

Feldmann is a 30-year industry veteran who is currently the chairman and CEO of Neology. He formerly served as chairman, president and CEO of Cubic; chief operating officer of OMNIPLEX World Services; president and CEO of USProtect; and executive corporate vice president for business development and strategy at ManTech. Feldmann sits on the boards of AEVEX Aerospace, Fuse, the National Association of Corporate Directors and UrbanLife.

Who Is John Kavanaugh?

Kavanaugh is a financial management professional who served as chief financial officer at Perspecta, leading its launch as a publicly traded company in June 2018. He remained in a senior leadership role following Perspecta’s acquisition by Peraton in 2021. He previously held executive positions at DXC, served as president of Xerox Federal Solutions Group and was vice president at Northrop Grumman.
