Xcelerate Solutions, a defense and national security company backed by McNally Capital, has added three senior executives to its leadership team.
The appointments of Terry Emmert, Steve Cubarney and Jean Francois “Boodi” Blanc reinforce the company’s strategic direction and growth in the government sector, Xcelerate said Tuesday.
Who Is Terry Emmert?
Emmert, a previous Wash100 Award winner, will serve as senior vice president of strategy, overseeing corporate strategy, growth initiatives, client relationships and investment evaluation. He most recently directed the Adaptive Capabilities Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Prior to that, he served at the Department of Defense for nearly 14 years in various roles, including principal deputy chief technology officer for mission capabilities and acting deputy undersecretary for research and engineering. Emmert also worked at IBM and Dell EMC, and served for 11 years in the U.S. Navy, including a stint as acting secretary of the Navy.
Who Is Steve Cubarney?
Cubarney was named executive vice president of sales in October. He brings extensive profit and loss and strategy experience to drive growth, focusing on business development, capture management and proposal strategy. He previously served as a partner in the defense and security segment at Guidehouse, director of the national security practice at PwC and VP of strategy at Berico Technologies. He held senior roles at IBM and Accenture.
Who Is Jean Francois Blanc?
Blanc was named EVP of strategic growth at Xcelerate, overseeing strategic capture, partnerships and technology offerings. He previously served as chief strategy officer at SDV International, chief growth officer at Akima, and led IBM’s federal sales team. Earlier, he held a nuclear engineering position at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
“These strategic hires represent a critical milestone in Xcelerate’s transformation. As we look ahead, our bold vision and mission imperatives are clear: to lead with adaptable, forward-thinking leadership while executing with precision,” said Mark Drever, CEO of Xcelerate.
