Vibrint has expanded its business development leadership with the appointment of John Martin as vice president for the Maryland region, furthering the company’s broader growth efforts across the defense and intelligence markets.

Who Is John Martin?

Martin has spent more than two decades working across engineering, consulting and defense programs, Vibrint said Tuesday. He started his career as an engineer within the Department of Defense and later moved into senior roles supporting intelligence and national security missions. He previously served as CEO of Dynamic Technologies, following earlier leadership and advisory roles at ProObject. The executive sits on the board of the Fort Meade Alliance.

“I joined Vibrint because this team pairs cutting-edge technology with a culture that successfully delivers,” Martin said. “It’s rare to find a company where leaders roll up their sleeves, people collaborate without ego and innovation truly serves mission outcomes. That’s the environment Vibrint has built — and it’s why I’m excited to help drive its next stage of growth.”

Why Is Vibrint Expanding Its Growth Team?

The hire follows a period of sustained expansion for Vibrint, which has nearly doubled in size over the past two years through a series of acquisitions that increased its technical depth and customer footprint. Recently, the company announced the appointment of Skip Maselli as vice president of business development for the Virginia region.

Company leaders said the latest additions strengthen efforts to position Vibrint for more opportunities across the national security community.

Vibrint Chief Growth Officer Amy Steinberg said the growing business development bench is designed to align the company’s combined capabilities with a broader set of programs and mission portfolios.

According to Vibrint CEO Tom Lash, the expanded leadership reflects the company’s momentum as it continues pursuing work tied to national security. “The fact that John and Skip chose Vibrint speaks volumes about our culture, our people, the trajectory we’re on and the impact we are driving at the mission edge,” Lash said.
