Michael LaRouche, a business and engineering executive with over three decades of experience, has been named CEO of Serco North America, effective Oct. 1.

The professional technology, engineering and management services provider said Monday LaRouche, a two-time winner of the Wash100 Award, will replace Tom Watson, who is leaving after seven years with the company.

Michael LaRouche’s New Role

LaRouche will drive Serco North America’s expansion, particularly within the U.S. and Canadian markets. He will leverage his extensive experience and proven track record in delivering systems, products and services across the federal civilian and defense sectors.

“I look forward to Michael taking our North American business forward for the benefit of our customers, employees and shareholders at a time when the division has strong momentum,” said Anthony Kirby, group CEO of Serco.

Pre-Serco Career

The executive most recently served as president of Emalar. He is also a board member and chair of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance membership committee.

Prior to that, LaRouche was president at SAIC, where he led a multi-billion-dollar sector supporting space, the intelligence community and Department of Defense agencies. He also had a 12-year tenure at Raytheon as vice president, overseeing $4 billion in profit and loss across nine product lines. Earlier in his career, LaRouche was a director at Lockheed Martin, leading C4ISR programs across global defense domains and pioneering unmanned systems and cross-domain operations.
