The U.S. Air Force has awarded BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI Federal, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and 28 other companies spots in the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Automatic Test Systems Acquisition-I, or ATSA-I, contract potentially valued $980 million. The multiple award contract provides rapid support and sustainment services for the full life cycle of legacy items and future commercial and non-commercial product requirements at the Automatic Test Systems, or ATS, division, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The ATS division manages integrated weapon systems worth a total of $3.5 billion and is responsible for buying, modifying and repairing over 200 test systems and subsystems used across all major Air Force weapons platforms.
In addition to the Air Force, the division serves the needs of the Department of Defense, the Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard and joint warfighters worldwide.
ATSA-I Multiple Award Contract Details
The places of performance will be determined per individual order. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 18, 2035.
The contract also includes potential foreign military sales.
The award follows a competitive acquisition that drew 38 bids. Robins Air Force Base in Georgia serves as the contracting activity.
