McLean, Virginia-based Xcelerate Solutions has completed its acquisition of General Dynamics Information Technology’s background investigation assets.
Xcelerate said Tuesday it has executed the transition of personnel, contracts and systems to ensure the continued delivery of mission support and services to customers across the Department of Homeland Security, Pentagon and the intelligence community.

Meeting the US Government’s Background Investigation Needs
The defense and national security company said the transaction represents a moment of growth and strategic advancement as it continues to partner with government agencies to deliver background investigations and security platforms aligned with Trusted Workforce 2.0.
