The Department of State has awarded CACI Federal and General Dynamics Information Technology positions on the potential $8 billion Evolve indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for network and telecommunication services. The department announced the selection through award notices published on the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation.
Under the multiple-award contract, funded by the Bureau of Information Resource Management, the selected companies will deliver IT platforms and services, and technical management expertise to address the global IT mission needs of the State Department. Both CACI and GDIT will receive a 12-month contract valued at $2.2 million.
The Evolve contract, structured with a base period of five years and two option years, covers five pools, particularly, IT management, network services, cloud and data services, application development, and customer and end user support services.
A total of 12 vendors submitted proposals for the Evolve program.
